Unified Signal Launches its Mobile Commerce Enablement Suite

Redmond, Wash. — August 15, 2009 Unified Signal, a leading innovator in the global telecommunications industry, today announced entry into the mobile payments enablement space with the launch of its SaaS based Mobile Wallet solution. Unified Signal’s Mobile Wallet enablement software and supplier ecosystem allows its clients to launch a private label Mobile Wallet that can be used to allow customers to pay for their wireless services, freely move money between customers, and enables clients to pay their customers for commissions that may be earned from referring other customers.

"The mobile payment space is ready for a flexible program that allows its users the freedom and flexibility that our Mobile Wallet offers. Our mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) clients are in desperate need of a payment solution that is less costly than the industry standard and linking this type of payment solution to their mobile phone has opened up a new world of opportunity and ingenuity for Unified Signal," said Paris Holt, chief executive officer of Unified Signal.

Unified Signal has put together five key suppliers to form a strategic alliance enabling Unified Signal to offer its clients a feature rich mobile payment platform that allows for free money movement and free merchant processing therefore saving its MVNO clients two to three percent in credit card merchant processing fees.

The Unified Signal Mobile Commerce technology suite is a state of the art payment management module fully integrated into Unified Signal’s convergent billing and rating operating system (BSS/OSS). Unified Signal’s system was originally designed for reselling telecom type services such as cellular, Internet, long distance, and even cable. The mobile commerce product set has been built as an add-on module to provide enablement software which allows Unified Signal clients to offer highly secure mobile commerce, and flexible mobile wallet solutions to their end customers all using the power of their existing brand.

Andrew Yang, Unified Signal's vice president of operations states, "Unified Signal has created a PayPal type mobile wallet account system that is equivalent to a virtual savings account. We have listened to our client’s needs and have built a very powerful mobile commerce enablement suite that empowers clients to create their own payment gateways allowing for more cost efficient money movement within the US and internationally."
